Renovation
The Alutiiq Museum is renovating to improve its services. The project will expand our facilities by 3400 ft2, make important updates to support community needs, and provide a sustainable home for collections, exhibits, and programs. Construction is underway and will continue through 2024.
For the Love of Culture
You can help. For the love of culture, donate to the renovation project. Our capital campaign has raised over $520,000 toward our goal of $600,000. Help us reach our fundraising goal. Future generations will thank you!

The basement of the Alutiiq Center will become collections storage, with an expanded vault, a sacred storage area, a large laboratory to support collection care and research, and efficient mechanical systems.
